Women For Whittier Holiday Tea 2024

  • December 11, 2024
  • Time: 4:30PM - 6:30PM
  • Location: FREDERICA M. WILLIAMS Building, 1290 Tremont St, Roxbury, MA 02120

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Gender Equity and Women’s Empowerment’ and we are honored to have Dr. Reshma Kewalramani, Chief Executive Officer and President, Vertex Pharmaceuticals as our keynote speaker. Alongside Dr. Kewalramani, we will be recognizing the following women who have been outstanding champions for Whittier and its community with Women for Whittier awards:

  • Theresa Hopkins-Staten, President, Eversource Energy Foundation and Vice President, Corporate Citizenship and Equity
  • Elaine Ullian, Former President and CEO, Boston Medical Center
  • Alicia Wedderburn, Founder & CEO, Science Ed Consulting and Lead Science Coach, Boston Public Schools
  • Enna Jimenez, CEO, Enna Jimenez LLC and Chief Development Officer, ALPFA
  • Shirley Leung, Columnist and Associate Editor, Boston Globe

Gender equity is a human right, but our world faces persistent gaps in access to opportunities and decision-making power for women. With your support, Whittier can continue to provide for, and advocate on behalf of, the most marginalized women in our community.
