Clinical Services

Clinical Pharmacy Program

Whittier has partnered with an independently operated pharmacy that is located within the same building as Whittier to realize the benefits of the federally funded 340B Drug Pricing Program. The pharmacy is open to all.  Additionally, Whittier has implemented a Prescription Assistance Program, to help Whittier’s most burdened patients with prescription co-pays and other costs associated with prescriptions, especially for those with inadequate prescription insurance. The Prescription Assistance Program targets Whittier’s patients who have heavy prescription burdens due to chronic conditions, such as diabetes, CVD, asthma and HIV/AIDS, but is also available to patients who lack prescription coverage or are experiencing a lapse in coverage.
