Drive-thru coronavirus testing begins in Roxbury

The Whittier Street Health Center, 1290 Tremont St., in Roxbury, was scheduled to start drive-thru coronavirus testing this morning – for both its patients and others.

An appointment is required for the free testing, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. People seeking testing need to be running a fever and have a cough, shortness of breath or a sore throat.

Whittier will provide COVID-19 testing from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday to Friday. Following CDC guidance, we recommend testing if you have a fever AND one of the following three symptoms: cough OR shortness of breath OR sore throat. Please bring your picture identification and your insurance card (if you have insurance).
