Happy veterans Day

  • November 11, 2023

Veterans Day is commemorated in November, occurring on the 11th to mark the 11th hours of the 11th day of the 11th month when an armistice was declared between the Allied nations and Germany during World War I.
It is a time to honor the men and women who served and presently serve in the United States military branches and their service to the country. Whittier Street Health Center has a designated Veterans’ Clinic where navigation and case management services are provided for veterans, including housing application, acquisition of food stamps, integration of patients into behavioral health, primary care, and all necessary specialty services. We are grateful for the service of all Veterans including our colleagues, patients and community residents.
