Whittier Street Health Center and Project ME were proud to be participants in the 2015 Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 13, in celebration of Boston’s 45th annual Pride Week. The theme for this year’s Pride Week is “Wicked Proud,” which evokes the storied history of Pride in Boston and, on the other hand, to provide a distinctively Bostonian motto around which our community can rally into the future. Boston Pride was born in 1970, one year after the Stonewall Riots, and is now the largest annual public event in New England!

The Whittier/Project ME team was very proud to join in the tradition of public demonstration in the streets of Boston! The parade started in Copley Square and ended at City Hall Plaza.
