Whittier Street Health Center named top 100 women-led for the third year: 2014, 2015 and 2016

The Globe Magazine and the Commonwealth Institute partner to name the most noteworthy companies and nonprofits helmed by women.

 

Excerpt from the Boston Globe Magazine:We looked at revenue or operating budget and other variables, including number of full-time employees in the state, workplace and management diversity, and innovative projects. We then ranked organizations according to our own formula. We considered both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. This is the 15th year (2016) that the Commonwealth Institute — a local nonprofit that supports female business leaders — has created the list, and the fourth year that the Globe Magazine has partnered with the group.

Whittier will provide COVID-19 testing from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday to Friday. Following CDC guidance, we recommend testing if you have a fever AND one of the following three symptoms: cough OR shortness of breath OR sore throat. Please bring your picture identification and your insurance card (if you have insurance).
