Whittier Street Health Center to Host May 11th Mother’s Day Brunch
BOSTON, MA, ISSUED MAY 1, 2023…Whittier Street Health Center, a community health center with a mission to serve as a center of excellence that provides high quality and accessible health care and social services that achieve health equity, social justice, and the economic well-being of a diverse patient population, will host a Mother’s Day brunch on Thursday, May 11th from 10 a.m. to noon in the center’s Community Education Room at 1290 Tremont Street, Roxbury.
“We look forward to honoring the selfless commitment of mothers and sharing a meal, friendly conversation, and information during our special Mother’s Day brunch,” said Frederica M. Williams, president and CEO of Whittier Street Health Center. “While all mother’s deserve to be honored each and every day, our annual Mother’s Day event is one way of paying respect to the many wonderful women we are thankful to call our patients.”
In addition to a delicious catered meal, the event will feature music, giveaways, and a presentation by Carolyn Reynolds, Associate Director of Behavioral Health, Adult and Substance Abuse Services at Whittier.
