On November 6, 2013, the Men’s Health Department at Whittier Street Health Center held the Driving for Wellness health fair at Logan Airport. Boston taxi drivers were invited for the event, which provided health services such as blood pressure screening, glucose screening, health benefits enrollment, and health information. More than 100 men received health information and underwent screenings.

Whittier thanks MASSPORT at Logan Airport for supporting the health fair. The Men’s Health Department would also like to thank the Union Steelworkers Boston Taxi Drivers Association, which helped organize the event. Together, we implemented another successful Driving for Wellness program that provided health care services to the men of our communities, to help them to stay healthy and adopt healthier lifestyles.
