Clean Teeth for Toys

  • December 10, 2025

The holiday season is a wonderful time for families to come together, celebrate traditions, and enjoy the sweet treats that make this time of year so special. It’s also a great opportunity to help children build healthy habits that keep their smiles strong all year long. Encouraging regular brushing, flossing, and routine dental checkups can make a meaningful difference in children’s lifelong oral health.

At Whittier Street Health Center, we are committed to helping kids and families maintain good dental hygiene all year long. We offer comprehensive pediatric dental services to children of all ages, including cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, and preventive education. We’re also expanding access to care through our new Mobile Dental Health Van, which brings services directly into the community, and our newly added dental treatment rooms in the Center for Health Equity Research. These investments ensure that our patients can rely on Whittier for convenient, high-quality dental care close to home.

To further support children’s dental health (and spread some holiday cheer), we’re excited to host our annual Clean Teeth for Toys event on Wednesday, December 17th, from 12–2 PM in the Community Engagement Room. Whittier patients are invited to join us for an afternoon of festive fun, helpful oral health resources, and a special visit from Santa! Children ages 0–17 are eligible to receive a new, unwrapped toy, along with dental hygiene essentials to help keep their smiles bright throughout the season.

We look forward to welcoming families for this joyful tradition and helping children start the new year with healthy habits and happy memories. Whether your child is due for a checkup, needs a little encouragement to stay on track with brushing and flossing, or simply wants to enjoy a festive afternoon with our staff and Santa, Clean Teeth for Toys is a fun and meaningful way to support their oral health.

Registration for this event is required. To register, please call (617) 989–3112.
