Mental Health Awareness Month
- May 7, 2025
Struggling with your mental health? You’re not alone. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) estimates that 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience a mental illness each year. Despite how common these challenges are, many people fear the stigma and judgment associated with seeking help or speaking openly about their experiences with depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions that can disrupt daily functioning and undermine quality of life.
On May 14th, our Behavioral Health team will host a Mental Health Awareness Month event to break the silence surrounding mental health diagnosis and offer resources for self-care, treatment, and wellness support that are available at Whittier. No matter what you’re going through, we are always here to support you!
